US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping held a scheduled phone call on Friday to discuss bilateral trade ties and the future of TikTok , Chinese state media reported.
"Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke by telephone with US President Donald Trump," state broadcaster CCTV and the Xinhua news agency confirmed, without providing further details.
