Four cars have achieved perfect reliability scores in the latest WhatCar? Reliability study with Hyundai coming out on top. Two Hyundai models achieved a 100% score, with the i10 and Sante Fe models topping the list.
The Kia EV3 and Toyota GR Yaris also achieved top scores in a major win for the South Korean and Japanese manufacturers. WhatCar?'s Reliability study was conducted after feedback from 32,493 car owners with keys to models aged up to five years old. The data covers 30 brands and 227 different models, with four earning the 100% score for an exemplary reliability rating.

The Hyundai i10 achieved a 100% rating after owners reported suffering zero faults with their models. WhatCar? has previously claimed the i10 was one of the "most dependable small cars" on the road, making it a steal for those desperate for a reliable motor.
For extra peace of mind, i10 owners will also enjoy a five-year unlimited mileage warranty as well as 12 months' roadside assistance. The model has also been praised for its roomy and comfortable interior, as well as being good value for money.
Hyundai's Santa Fe model released between 2018 and 2024 was next on the list, with WhatCar? previously claiming the model offered a "top-notch" reliability record.
Brand new owners have benefitted from a five-year transferable warranty, with many secondhand models on the market still enjoying some cover today.
The Kia EV3 also secured a 100% reliability score with the model still considered to be one of the most reliable electric cars on the road. Those finalising a deal for a Kia EV3 can also enjoy a seven-year (100,000-mile) warranty on most components.
Meanwhile, Kia also offers an extended eight-year or 100,000 mile cover for their battery. Finally, the Toyota GR Yaris was the final model to score a 100% reliability score with the hot hatch proving to be a top purchase.
Toyota also offers a standard three-year, 60,000-mile warranty on its vehicles. However, WhatCar? claims this can be extended up to 10 years or up to 100,000 miles if customers decide to service their vehicle at a Toyota dealership.
