Countryfile star Adam Henson has offered a sweet update from his Cotswolds farm. He's known for sharing the realities of farm life with his Instagram fans, including both triumphs and tribulations and today he had some good news in quite an emotional announcement.
Posting to his social media account, the 59-year-old BBC star gave an update on his beloved Suffolk Punch mare, Lexy. He shared that he was on his way to pick her up from another farm in Worcestershire - Holbeache Stud - where she had been staying for a little while. A clip showed Adam arriving at the pastures as it showed the horse happy in her environment, surrounded by other horses of the same breed. He captioned the Instagram post, writing: "Lexy's back - and she's brought big news. Find out in my newest episode out now. Link in my bio."

Over onYouTube, the star explained that the farm is one of the UK's leading Suffolk Punch breeding programs and dives into the crucial conservation efforts being made to protect one of Britain's rarest horse breeds.
A longer video explained that Lexy was now "in foal", meaning that she is pregnant. Excited by the news, Adam exclaimed: "That's fantastic!" He then revealed that the new addition to the farm is due in May next year.
Adam then successfully returned the horse back to his own farm as he explained that they had to take care in transit but she had "travelled well".
Fans were delighted with the news. "They really are a dream come true, aren't they?" one commented. Another added: "Absolutely Beautiful," while a third echoed: "So gorgeous."
The positive update comes after Adam shared a concerning bit of news about the drought conditions plaguing his Cotswold farm.
The TV farmer detailed how a severe drought is taking its toll on his crops. Accompanying a video that highlighted the parched earth, Adam captioned: "The drought has brought real challenges to both our crops and livestock."
He continued with optimism, stating: "Thankfully, it has rained since filming, and we're starting to see signs of recovery in our grassland."
