
This week, retailers including Waitrose, Next, and Matalan are urgently recalling products over safety fears. Customers are being warned about the items, so if you have any at home, take extra care.
One of the products being recalled involves an undeclared allergen on the ingredients list. Others involve children's clothing items that could potentially cause an injury. Here is the full list, as well as a couple of older recalls that are still in place.
Waitrose is recalling Waitrose & Partners Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta (375g) because it contains mustard, which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard.

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to celery, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
Matalan has recalled the following bikini tops due to the risk that the underwire can protrude from the casing and cause injury. If you have bought any of them, do not use the product and return it to your nearest Matalan store, where our staff will be happy to give you a full refund.

Several Miss Summer children's clothing items have also been recalled this week. The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) said: "The product presents risks of strangulation and choking as they have decorative draw cords which exceed the maximum permissible length.
"While worn, the cord may become entangled and tighten across the child's neck, leading to strangulation, entrapment or choking.
If you have purchased any of these items, return them to your nearest Matalan store for a full refund.

An alert has been issued about counterfeit PopMart Labubu dolls that are being sold in Scotland.
Four designs of children's dolls distributed by Keystore Bathgate (EH48 3EP), Livi News in The Centre, Livingston (EH54 6NB), The Gothenburg (EH47 0JB) and Broxburn MiniMarket (EH52 5EF).
The products present a risk of choking as the feet, hands, and eyes can detach with minimum force applied, producing a small part capable of fitting entirely inside a small parts cylinder. If a child were to place one of the small components in their mouth, they may choke. The required markings and labelling were not present.
The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

The supermarket has issued a product recall due to the presence of nickel found in the trims of some Lilac and Sage George Ladies double buckle flatbed sandals in All Sizes, priced at £12.50.
Testing has confirmed that the rivet part of the trim may contain nickel levels that exceed the permissible limits, which may cause skin reactions.
If you have purchased the below Ladies double buckle sandals in any size of the lilac or sage colours, please bring the product back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt. No other colours are impacted by this recall.
