The Paper has released its official trailer and it features an original The Office US star, much to fans' delight.
Twelve year after fans said an emotional goodbye to Steve Carell as Michael Scott and the rest of the team at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch, The Office US creator Greg Daniels is back in action with a new comedy on the way.
Teaming up with comedian and writer Michael Koman, The Paper is another mockumentary which sees the same documentary crew from The Office US focus on a new subject in a historic Midwestern newspaper.

The Paper will premeire on Friday, September 5, on Sky and NOW.
The trailer, which was released today, Thursday, August 7, kicks off with a shot of the Dunder Mifflin building, with the caption: "Several years ago, a documentary crew filmed the story of Dunder Mifflin.
"Now they've found a new subject."
About Time star Domhnall Gleeson then shows up in the newspaper office building where he tells the staff: "My name is Ned Samson.
"I am your new editor-in-chief."
When asked what he thinks about the newspaper currently, he admits that it "sucks" but has ambitions to "make it better".
In another scene, Ned welcomes a team of volunteers for their first staff meeting working at the Toledo Truth Teller.
But when he asks if any of them have written for a newspaper before, someone says he wrote "a paper in junior high", while another said he's tweeted and a third remarks that he's in a "group text".
The caption continues: "From the crew that brought you The Office, on September 5, comes a new comedy of underdogs with major issues."

Much to fans' delight, the teaser ends with a clip of original The Office US star Oscar Martinez (Oscar Nunez) who is sat at a desk when he sees the film crew.
Annoyed, he gets up from his chair and remarks: "Not again. I'm not agreeing to any of this", before walking out.
He is then seeing: "I will make this unusuable", as he proceeds to swear, which is bleeped out, and dares the crew to "use that".
Alongside Gleeson and Nunez, The paper will star The White Lotus' Sabrina Impacciatore, The Moodys star Chelsea Frei, Nine Perfect Strangers actor Melvin Gregg and Man Seeking Woman's Romana Young.
The Paper is created, written and exeutive produced by Greg Daniels and Michael Korman with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant returning as executive producers.
The Paper premieres on Friday, September 5, on Sky and NOW.
