A man has slammed his 'entitled' neighbourwho keeps blocking his driveway and making it difficult for him to go about his day. He claims there's "plenty of street parking" on his road - but instead, one of his neighbours chooses to park slightly over his driveway, meaning he has to do a six-point turn minimum to leave his drive.
He said on Reddit: "For whatever reason this guy insists on parking right in front of my driveway. Not fully blocking it, but just enough that I have to do a a or six point turn in order to actually get out. First I started by leaving some polite notes and then I’ve had a direct conversation about it. I’ve even called bylaw once and they gave him a warning, but nothing’s changed whatsoever. It’s like he’s doing it just to be annoying at this point."
But recently, the man was completely parked across his driveway, meaning he had to wait inside his vehicle for 20 minutes until his neighbour showed his face.
He added: "I had to sit in my car and wait 20 full minutes for him to come out so I could leave because he parked it in the worst way possible and he wouldn't open the door when I went to his apartment.
"I opened up rolling riches and scrolled slots until he came out which was literally 23 minutes after.
"I just don't know what to do at this point like I'm planning to start calling the police every single day until he hopefully understands and parks somewhere else."

Commenting on his post, one user suggested: "Call the police non-emergency line and ask them what your local laws state. If you can have the car towed, get it towed to a lot with a high daily storage cost.
"They've shown they don't give a f*** about being a good neighbour so it's time to raise the cost of their parking in front of your driveway."
Another user added: "Find the towing company with the lowest rating you can."
A third user said: "This is what happens every time you ask someone politely to not be a giant ****.
"They realise it annoys you so they do it more. It has happened to me and people I know so many times."
One more user added: "Can you get it towed? I'm not sure how that works, but if you're being blocked in, there's got to be something legal you can do.
"If anything, I'd suggest you start keeping track of all this with time, date, and pictures. Sorry you have to deal with an a***hole neighbour.
"I've been there. It totally sucks. I don't get why people can't be decent human beings. Good luck!"
According to the Met Police, your local authority should always be your first point of contact if neighbours keep parking across your driveway. If you know the vehicle owners, always politely ask them to remove it first. You shouldn't make physical treats or attempt to move the vehicle yourself. If you lease a property with a space, contact whoever is responsible for the building. For more advice, visit Citizens Advice.
