Bob Mortimer will return to defend his title on Last One Laughing alongside a raft of big name comedians including David Mitchell, Mel Giedroyc and Romesh Ranganathan.
The new series airs on Prime Video next year and also includes Diane Morgan, Amy Gledhill, Alan Carr, Maisie Adam, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Sam Campbell
Earlier this year, it was announced that the hit series will be back on screens with main host Jimmy Carr and sidekick Roisin Canary.

One show source said: “When Bob won, and everyone loved the series so much, we thought it would be a brilliant idea to invite him back to defend his crown. He said yes and we can’t wait to see what comedy gems he and the others come up with this time around.”
In series one, Bob beat Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley and Richard Ayoade.
In the show the players are tasked with giving hilarious performances, one at a time, but the others are not allowed to laugh. If they do, they are instantly disqualified from the competition.
The last two standing were Bob and Richard, who had been steadfastly deadpan until Bob broke him.
In this new series, Jimmy will once again challenge 10 of Britain’s funniest comics to spend the day together without so much as cracking a smile. Over the course of the series, they will use every ounce of their comedic talents to try and break their opponents.
Prime Video confirmed that the show's format will stay the same for series two, but new twists and surprise cameos will be added to catch the contestants off guard.
A synopsis teased: "In this new series, Jimmy Carr will once again challenge 10 of Britain’s funniest comics to spend the day together without so much as cracking a smile.
"Over the course of the series, they will use every ounce of their comedic talents to try and break their opponents without cracking up. And it’s not just their rivals they need to watch out for. The show is packed with comedy cameos, format twists and surprises designed to elicit laughs from both players and viewers alike."
The show is based on the Japanese Amazon Original Documental, which saw comedians stake their own money in a closed-room laughter battle. The concept has since spread to over 20 countries, including Ireland, where Graham Norton hosts the show.
The first UK series received praise from critics and audiences alike, with standout moments including Bob Mortimer’s Slender Ladies song and Joe Wilkinson’s now-famous RNLI speech.
Fans branded the final showdown between Bob and Richard "incredible", with one posting: "Richard Ayoade v Bob Mortimer on Last One Laughing made my belly burst, heart sing and mind explode."
Mortimer reflected on his experience on the show after his big win, saying: "It felt like when I was a lot younger and I lived in a shared house with people I really liked. I could have sat in there for a lot longer. I'm an old bloke, I don't see many people. I was so happy with the people who were in there with me – they were all superb."
