It is no secret that Cath also hails from a well-known line of important figures. Her paternal grandfather was Glen Kidston, a celebrated racing driver for Bentley in the 1920s.
Cath also boasted a parliamentary link too, with her cousin Samantha Cameron being the wife of former Prime Minister . They are first cousins, who share the same grandmother, Nancy Soames.

High cancer riskBoth Kirstie and her sister Sophie discovered they had a one-in-three genetic risk of developing breast cancer after their mother and grandmother both battled the disease.
Sophie elected to reduce her risk of getting breast cancer by "90 percent" after she underwent a double mastectomy in 2010, Kirstie did not follow suit.
In a past interview with Daily Mail, Kirstie felt as though she had to speak up for her reasons for not facing surgery. She said: "I'm not mucking around or burying my head in the sand. I'm not doing this without medical advice.
"I have annual ultrasound scans, as well as a mammogram, which is something my doctors tell me is a perfectly safe and acceptable treatment plan."
