He spoke of the organisation’s flagship project, Sandipani, an ambitious initiative to create a residential complex for mentally challenged individuals. “It aims to provide a lifelong home for children after their parents are gone,” he said, calling it a response to the critical question many parents face: What after us?
Currently, ISMC supports 65 day-scholars and 15 hostel residents. As per the society’s constitution, all office-bearers are parents of mentally challenged children and are deeply committed to their development and welfare. Their shared experience brings empathy, dedication and personal resolve to every initiative.
