Send Push

Maharashtra is steadily advancing toward its ambitious $1 trillion economy goal, with the industrial sector playing a pivotal role. To sustain this momentum, the government is prioritizing timely delivery of essential services and approvals required by industriesranging from water and electricity to roads, land, and regulatory clearances.

Single Window Clearance Through MAITRI Portal

To ensure efficiency, all industrial clearances will now be available through a unified digital platform the MAITRI (Maharashtra Industry, Trade and Investment Facilitation Cell) portal. Additionally, an anonymous grievance redressal mechanism is being set up to allow industries to raise concerns freely and have them resolved swiftly.

Dedicated Water and Power Infrastructure

The Water Resources Department has been instructed to ensure that water is supplied to industries based on demand. For power supply, substations will be prioritized at Majalgaon, Dighi, Butibori, Chamorshi, Jaipur (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), and PM Mitra Park in Amravati. A dedicated mechanism will also address power transmission and maintenance issues.

Fast-Tracking Connectivity and Environment Clearances

Efforts are underway to expedite online environmental clearance processing. Road connectivity projects—such as the Shendra-Bidkin link to Samruddhi Mahamarg and key access roads in Butibori—will also be fast-tracked to boost industrial logistics.

Simplified Permissions and Labour Norms

The state will ensure industries receive ‘Consent to Establish’ and ‘Consent to Operate’ approvals within the stipulated time. Unnecessary permits will be eliminated, labour-related procedures are being standardized, and land allotment norms are being simplified for ease of doing business.
