Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a grand spiritual celebration, the holy city of Indore will witness the magnificent Palki Yatra of Lord Mahakal in his Chandramouleshwar form. Organised by Shri Gwal Bhairav Kalka Mata Mandir, the divine procession will begin at 4 pm from Anoop talkies square and culminate at Kalka dham by 8 pm.
The sacred journey will feature five captivating tableaux: Nasha Mukti (de-addiction), Operation Sindoor (women’s safety), Ram Darbar, Lord Shiva’s divine form and an artistic depiction of Kalkadham. Elephants, bullock carts and traditional decor will recreate ancient spiritual scenes, drawing crowds of devotees and cultural enthusiasts alike.

Tuesday’s main event promises an awe-inspiring atmosphere with devotional performances by renowned bhajan singer Gannu Maharaj and the celebrated Rajkamal Band.
The city’s esteemed akharas, including Shri Marimata Mandal and Ustad Chandrapal Singh Vyayamshala will perform traditional martial arts, while Hanumant Dhwaj Pathak’s rhythmic drumming will uplift the spiritual mood.
The spiritual essence of the celebration will be enriched by the divine presence of Pujya Guru Yogi Peer Ramnath Maharaj of Bhartrihari Gufa, Ujjain. Chief priest Rahul Yadav will lead the rituals at Kalka dham, now adorned in southern-style floral decorations. The city awaits an unforgettable evening of devotion, culture and divine blessings under the gaze of Lord Mahakal.
