New Delhi: A ground-plus-three building collapsed in Delhi's Seelampur on Saturday, July 12. Several people are feared trapped under the debris of the collapsed building under the jurisdiction of the Welcome Police Station area. After receiving the information, the authorities rushed to the spot. A rescue operation has been launched.
At least seven fire tenders are involved in the rescue operation. Three to four people were rescued from the debris and were rushed to a hospital.

"We have received a call regarding a building collapse at 7 am. Multiple teams are working, including seven fire tenders. Further information is awaited," the officer said, as reported by PTI.
So far, there are no reports of any casualties. The amount of collateral damage is yet to be ascertained.

It was the second building collapse incident in Delhi in a day. On Friday, a building also collapsed near Azad Market, North Delhi, around 2 am. One person died in the collapse. A parked truck was damaged.
