Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Chhatarpur police has been accused of torturing four youths in the police station.
The youths alleged that they were stripped of their clothes and beaten for four days. The police have also been accused of putting chilli powder in their private parts.
The case is from Naugaon police station area of the district. In this case, at around 4 pm on Saturday evening, the victims and Bhim Army workers reached the SP office shouting slogans and demanded action.
The victims sat on a protest demanding action against the responsible persons. They agreed after persuasion at 1.30 am.

Here late at night, Congress Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and former CM Digvijaya Singh spoke to the victims and police officers over the phone. Former Congress MLA from Maharajpur Neeraj Dixit also came to meet them.
Digvijaya Singh also made a post about the incident. He wrote " Another example of MP police's brutality against ST SC. Strict action should be taken against Naugaon police station in-charge."

Allegations of beaten up on false charges of theft
According to the victims, they all are residents of Kanjadpur Dharampura and make and sell brooms. On the evening of July 15, they had gone to the inauguration ceremony of a new house on Naugaon Disleri Road.
While returning from here, they were urinating on the roadside, when a Dial-100 police vehicle arrived and 5 people were taken to the police station without any reason. One of these youths was released because he was handicapped.
It is alleged that the remaining four youths were hung upside down in the police station and beaten with belts and kicks and punches. To make them confess to the theft, chilli was put in their private parts and they were called and tortured for four days.
According to information, the police had caught five people on charges of stealing transformer oil.
