The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Main Examination 2025. A total of 2,736 candidates have been declared successful in the Main Examination. All of them will now appear for the further selection process, i.e., interviews. Candidates who appeared in the Main Examination can check their results by visiting the Commission's official website, upsc.gov.in. The examination was conducted from August 22, 2025, to August 31, 2025.
Candidates who were successful in the UPSC CSE Preliminary Examination appeared for the Main Examination. The Main Examination was conducted in two shifts at various centers across the country. The first shift was from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift was from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. According to an official notification issued by the Commission, the results of three candidates have been withheld due to pending court cases.

UPSC CSE Mains Result 2025: Documents to Bring to the Interview
Candidates selected for the interview must bring all their original educational certificates and documents for verification. Certificates related to their category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), or Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) status must also be included.
The UPSC has also directed that candidates who have already uploaded their documents must log in again and verify their details online. This verification is mandatory to download the e-summon letter for the interview stage.
Candidates should note that the Commission will not accept any requests for amendments to the information provided in the Online Application Form (OAF). However, candidates may formally notify UPSC of any changes in address or contact information by mail or email to csm-upsc@nic.in.
