The notice issued on the website of the consortium states that the Executive Committee and Governing Body of the Association of National Law Universities, in its meeting held on 20 July 2025, decided that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 will be held on Sunday, 7 December 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

CLAT 2026 Exam: Who can appear in CLAT 2026 exam?

To appear in CLAT UG 2026 exam, it is mandatory for the general category students to pass 12th with 45 percent marks. At the same time, 40 percent marks have been fixed for the reserved category. At the same time, for CLAT PG 2026, the student must have an LLB degree with 45 percent marks. Last year, the application fee for general and OBC categories was fixed at Rs 4,000 and Rs 3500 for SC and ST.
