Bank of Baroda (BOB) has issued an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Local Bank Officer (LBO). Essential Qualification
To apply for this post, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized institute in India. Along with this, candidates should also have one year of work experience in a commercial bank or a regional rural bank, and other prescribed eligibility criteria.
Age Limit
To apply for the post of Local Bank Officer, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed at 18 years, and the maximum age at 30 years. However, candidates will also be given relaxation in the age limit. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates will be given a five-year relaxation in the age limit, and OBC candidates will be given a three-year relaxation in the age limit.
Application fee
The application fee has also been fixed for the candidates. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is Rs 850, and the application fee for SC/ST and female candidates is Rs 175.
Selection will be done like this.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test, a psychometric test, and an interview. In the written examination, candidates will be asked 120 multiple-choice type questions of 120 marks from English, Banking, General/Economic Awareness, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the written examination has been fixed at two hours. Students who pass the written examination will be invited for group discussion/interview.
