BSTC and Pre-DLED course are mandatory for teaching in primary schools in Rajasthan. It is a 2-year diploma course, after doing which the candidate is eligible to become a third grade teacher. The initial basic salary of a BSTC teacher is around 9,300 thousand to 33,800 per month according to pay level 10, which can reach up to Rs 35,000 with experience and promotion. Along with this, they also get various allowances like HRA, CCA and other allowances. Overall, a BSTC teacher can get additional benefits of up to 34 percent of the basic salary. Salary of teachers in Rajasthan according to grade
The salary of Rajasthan government school teachers is determined according to their grade. Teachers coming under grade first are placed in pay level 12. In which their basic salary is 44, 300 per month and grade pay is fixed at 4, 800. At the same time, teachers of grade second come in pay level 11. Where they get 37,800 basic salary with 4,200 pay grade. Third grade teachers are placed in pay level 10. Where their basic salary is 33, 800 and they get grade pay 3,600. How much salary does a first grade teacher get?
A first grade teacher appointed under the Rajasthan Public Service Commission gets an in-hand salary of about Rs 53,687 to Rs 57,678 every month as per the Seventh Pay Commission. Pay matrix level 12 and grade pay 4,800 is fixed for this post. Even during training, they are given up to Rs 27,660 as stipend.
