The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has issued an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II and Technical. Candidates interested in securing a career in the IB as an ACIO or in technical positions will soon be able to apply online for these positions. The IB will recruit a total of 258 IB ACIO Gr-II/Tech positions. The application process for these positions will begin on October 25th. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these positions until November 16, 2025.
Salary:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400.
Educational Qualifications:
To apply for these positions, candidates must have a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or other disciplines. Additionally, candidates must possess a Master's degree and other required qualifications.
Age Limit
The minimum age for applying is 18 years, and the maximum age is 27 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates from special categories. SC and ST candidates will be given a 5-year age relaxation, and OBC candidates will be given a 3-year age relaxation.
Selection Method
Candidates will be selected based on GATE scores, a skill test, and an interview. Candidates will be evaluated based on GATE scores for a total of 750 points, the skill test for a total of 250 points, and the interview for 175 points.
Application Fee
Application fees are determined category-wise. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is ₹200, and for reserved categories, the application fee is ₹100.
